CUA 132 - Food Preparation and the Health Care Industry

This course introduces students to food preparation and service in the health care industry. Emphasis will be placed on using medical dictionaries and reading charts for therapeutic diet instruction, and designing and creating menus and diet programs for special client populations. Upon completion, the student will be able to read and interpret medical terms and demonstrate knowledge about food service in the health care industry.
