ADM 180 - Quality Engineering IV - Quality Auditing and AIAG Core Tools

Prerequisite: ADM 170  
The course is designed to introduce students to the fundamentals and essential principles of Quality Auditing in both processes and systems. The course will explore various auditing types commonly employed in Quality Engineering and provide practical insights into their application within different work and process environments and include an in-depth exploration of the fundamental tools of a quality management system, as defined by the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG). Key subjects from the AIAG core tool framework will include the Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Measure System Analysis (MSA), and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), with an emphasis placed on the practical utilization of these tools in automotive and aerospace manufacturing contexts.
