In the Computer Science Technology Program, students will study both the practical and theoretical systems involved in the field of computer science. Students will learn how to write and test code in multiple computer languages, acquire knowledge of fundamental programming concepts, and create software programs. Students will also have the opportunity to obtain various industry-recognized certifications, including A+, Computer Programming, Cisco Networking, Comp TIA, and more. Computer Science Technology Program graduates will be prepared for numerous entry-level positions, including computer programming, application and software development, computer systems analysis, LAN setup and maintenance, and database administration. The experiences gained throughout the program will allow graduates to learn new computer languages and concepts more easily and thus become equipped for a successful career within the ever-evolving world of computer science.

Area I - Written Composition: 3 Hours
Area II - Humanities and Fine Arts: 6 Hours
Area III - Natural Science or Mathematics: 6-7 Hours
Area IV - History, Social, and Behavioral Sciences: 4 Hours
- ORI 101 - Orientation to College 1 Hour
- History or Social/Behaviorial Science* 3 Hours
*Choose from anthropology, economics, geography, history, political science, psychology, or sociology.
Area V - Technical Concentration and Electives: 43 Hours
Total Hours Required for Degree: 62-63 Hours
