MTH 116 - Mathematical Applications 3 Hours
Prerequisite: A letter grade of B or higher in MTH 090 or higher math placement, RDG 085 or higher placement This course provides practical applications of mathematics and includes selected topics from consumer math and algebra. Some topics included are integers, percent, interest, ratio and proportion, metric system, probability, linear equations, and problem solving. This is a terminal course designed for the student seeking an AAS degree and does not meet the general core requirement for mathematics.
