HIT 158 - Introduction to the Clinical Environment for HIT/MCC 1 Hour
Prerequisite: Acceptance into HIT Program Co-Requisite: HIT 134 , HIT 153 , HIT 160 , HIT 221 , HIT 222 , HIT 230 , and HIT This course is an introduction to the expectations and legal requirements of the clinical environment. Emphasis is placed on personal safety, personal integrity and accountability, and universal clinical expectations. Upon completion, the student should be able to demonstrate pre-clinical competency in clinically relevant topics, such as HIPAA regulations, universal precautions, and safety regulations.
