MTH 116 - Mathematical Applications3 Hrs. Prerequisite: A grade of B in MTH 080 and MTH 090 or equivalent placement score, RDG 085 or higher placement This course provides practical applications of mathematics and includes selected topics from consumer math and algebra. Some topics included are integers, percent, interest, ratio and proportion, metric system, probability, linear equations, and problem solving. This is a terminal course designed for the student seeking an AAS degree and does not meet the general core requirement for mathematics.
